Dr. Ezezika is the President and Founder of the African Center for Innovation & Leadership Development. He is a social entrepreneur in global health innovation. He holds adjunct faculty appointments at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of public health and the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ontario Institute of Technology. His research interests and experience lie at the nexus of trust, food security, nutrition and global health entrepreneurship. He has led the creation of a number of high-impact health and nutrition innovations including the NutridoTM system, a gamification platform for adolescent health. Dr. Ezezika is a member of the Canadian Society of International Health and the recipient of a number of awards including Nigerian LEADS scholar award, Grand Challenges Canada Rising Star in Global Health, JP William award, Harvey fellowship award and the Anchor Environmental scholarship award. He has a PhD in Microbiology from University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Yale University.
